About Me ^_^

Bello! Welcome to my first-ever online fundraising project! I'm Yan Ning, an ordinary student studying at UPM who wants to do something meaningful and memorable during sembreak. Hence, I joined the ECHO 3.0 project by AIESEC in UPM as a Malaysian Youth Volunteer to take some small actions towards the environment and encourage my self-development.

What is this all about??

I am raising funds for the ECHO 3.0 project. Environment, Cleansing, Habitation, Oasis (ECHO) is a 4-week project which aiming to increase awareness on climate change. Our vision is to create impact by achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 Climate Action by educating communities about climate change and build action plans to reduce critical factors affecting environment. 

Where the funds go??

The funds received will go to Global Eenvironment Centre (GEC). The Centre was a non-profit organisation that work on environmental issues of global importance. Their vision is to create a world where our environment is safeguarded and natural resources are conserved and used sustainably through equitable stakeholder partnerships for the common good.

Recently, GEC established a River Care Programme (RCP) focusing on promoting community participation in river and water resource protection and sustainable use through the Civic Science approach. By this programme, GEC is commited to provide a better understanding about the importance of our rivers and appreciate the value of them. Therefore, GEC work closely with all stakeholders in solid waste management and water and river management, and believe that everyone has a role to play in the environment.
