The Story

Small Donation Makes A Big Difference

Greetings everyone! I’m Yvonne Ee, one of the volunteer in Speak Up Sarawak 11.0 under AIESEC in Kuching. We are currently collaborating with Kuching Community Social Support Centre (CSSC) in order to do fundraising to contribute to young Malaysian students who are in need of education needs.

Let me introduce you to 'Speak Up!', a project targeting Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4. By 2030, we aim to substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship.

Note that: After those funds has been donated in our fundraiser page, the funds will go straight to CSSC will purchase school supplies such as stationery, bags, books, etc

Those funds will be channelled to:

 1) Underprivileged students

 2) Government students

By supporting this campaign, your small donation can makes a big difference in the education of many young students in Malaysia who truly need it. Your generous help will improve their education by providing the things they need, and it will also empower the next generation by giving them the gift of learning.

When you donate funds in our fundraiser page the funds will go straight to CSSC to purchase school supplies like stationery and bags, you can help underprivileged students have better opportunities, leading to a fairer and more educated society.

With your support, we can help these students do well in school and also feel more confident and proud. By investing in education, we are investing in a better and brighter future for Malaysia.

Thank you for considering our cause, and for your generosity and belief in the power of education.

What is Kuching Community Social Support Centre CSSC?

It is the first community support centre in Kuching, Sarawak.

They have “soup kitchen” for the homeless and needy groups, a community food bank, a youth and child-friendly activity corner, a social enterprise column, and community mental health services.

They will also help to combat 14 social issues faced by vulnerable communities that are given focus by the ministry through the Social Development Council (MPS), such as the homeless, victims of domestic violence, mental health issues, identification document problems, family addiction to substances, and related social issues or problems such as education, financial issue, etc.
