Be the Next Food Rangers

The Story

Hello, my name is Aurellya, a student studying mathematics. Everyday, there's 3000 tonnes of edible food being disposed in Malaysia. Malaysia generates more than 1 million tonnes of food waste every year. Food waste is extremely dangerous for the environment as it produces methane- a more powerful greenhouse gas. Without realising, we make our world suffering by simply wasting our food. This issue become one of my biggest concern as we as a society is accountable of this issue without realizing it.

Here, Ecoknights comes to the rescue. Ecoknights focuses on working for a better planet through several projects and one of them is C4C. Everyday people cook using oil and after that, that oil goes to waste. Ecoknights launch this C4C program to help with this issue. They recycle the cooking oil they get into soap. I think this program is interesting and can be one of the answer of what Malaysia is facing right now.
