The Story

Hello! We are students from AIESEC in Sunway volunteering in "Speak Up!", a project that aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by B40 students and encourage our society to support and advocate for the B40 students in order to foster a more inclusive Malaysia.

We are sincerely dedicated to helping B40 high school students because we value the importance of fair opportunities for all people and the transforming power of education. We are aware that having access to a high-quality education can act as a significant accelerator in the effort to end the cycle of poverty and build an equitable community. By starting this project, we are not only making the most of our privilege and resources but also turning our empathy and desire for change in a more constructive direction. We acknowledge that access to an education shouldn't be a privilege reserved for the lucky few but rather a fundamental right available to everyone, regardless of background. By working together, we intend to close the gap, foster hope, and offer a springboard for B40 students to follow their aspirations and realise their full potential.
