#LightACandle : Helping the intellectually disabled

The Story

A tiny flicker of light can defy the darkness, your contribution will help us give hope to the disabled community

We are a team of four volunteers at AIESEC working on a project GIFTED. We are striving to raise awareness about the struggles faced by the disabled community.

The pandemic has caused many of us to struggle emotionally, so how do you think it has impacted the disabled community? During times like this, especially, they are in need of our help and our contributions the most. 

We have started this funding page to raise money to provide them with daily necessities and educational materials to support the workforce of PAFID and CADS. This funding page also aims to combat the stigma regarding people with learning disabilities as the well-being and social inclusion of persons with intellectual disabilities are challenged by negative attitudes held among the general population.
