Unplug Food Waste

The Story

Hello, 

We are Clean Our Plate 2020 volunteers in which a project that tackle SDG 12 regarding food waste issue. The reason we are doing this crowdfunding is because to spread the awareness about the food waste issue. Food waste lies close in our lives in fact within ourselves too. So, with this project we aim to combat food waste especially among the youth. One of the purpose is to reveal some love and kindness among Malaysians

We also hope to help the community that are less privileged than the most of us in terms of having food on their plate. We run some initiatives to raise the food waste awareness and reducing it into more sustainable way including Food Donation Drive in which volunteers need to collect the surplus food from their neighbourhood area and passing it to the any end-beneficiaries who are in need. We take it in our stride to encourage everyone whilst instilling lots of positivity.
