Disability is an Opportunity

The Story

  Hello, we are Balqis and Jasmine, virtual volunteers from GFGI 2020. Despite COVID-19, we are trying to be more productive from home by helping to contribute to the disabled community and this is one of the ways.  We have decided to set up a fundraise for this project to help us improve the wellbeing of disabled children as they should receive more attention, support and care from the public.

   We are very concerned of the condition of the disabled children, especially in this current pandemic. It is truly devastating to realize that the truth about disabled community is often unheard. Most of the time, they are looked down upon their true abilities and talents.

I have two disabled little brothers at home, they help me to realize how much of a fortune they actually are. Helping them to improve in skills while discovering their talents are very eye-opening for me. They are prove that disability is actually an inability, they are always more of what people perceive of them.

Therefore, with support from YOU through funding, we are able to further continue to sustain this project and provide for special needs centre. I quote,
