How to get 4.0 in University

The Story

My name is Ooi Suyyin, currently having Bachelor Degree in Industrial Biotechnology in University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). This is my second year in UMP as well as in AIESEC. Speak Up project and Clean Our Plate project are the projects that were held by AIESEC in University Malaysia Pahang (AUMP). I found these two projects are mainly to help out students in primary school to have higher awareness towards the importance of communication and zero food waste. AIESEC this organization focuses more on the exchange culture of different countries among the international volunteers and students as well as any third parties that involved.

Speak Up allows secondary school students to have direct interaction with international volunteers and improve their communication skills in English. Based on my experiences in this project, students raised their confidence in communication day by day and stay connect with the volunteers. Feedback from teachers included positive impact that students have more interested to learn with the volunteers too.

There's is also a photo of our committees, volunteers and school teacher together. The last day of our project. It's so memorable and i do miss them so much. I really hope i can get back to the school again with the same project and see how my students gaining confident in speaking <3.
