The Story

About Me

My name is Ainur Nisha, an AIESEC virtual volunteer for a project called Animal's Hope 2.0. I am an animal lover who enjoys looking at cat and dog pictures and videos on social medias, they never fail to cheer me up. Are you one of those people too? If yes, do you know that not all animals have the luck of being cared for in a loving home? Instead, they roam our streets everyday, fighting to live another day by scavenging garbage and waiting outside of a shop with puppy eyes, hoping to be fed. Due to being strays, they are prone to catch diseases, especially rabies and is vulnerable to animal cruelty by bad people who know no one will bother to care for them.  

Hence, Zero Strays Miri was founded to care for the strays of Miri. They currently care for more than 300 rescued dogs and 80 cats and relies on donation to pay for their operating costs which is over RM8000 each month. Do note that the stray animals that is cared by Zero Strays Miri are neutered, vaccinated and had health check-ups at the vet.

How you can help?

1. Donate to the cause. My goal is to raise RM500 for the shelter animal's food. A little goes a long way, hence even RM10 donation will help us!
2. A 'Virtual Adoption Drive' will be held from 10th to 14th of June to rehome the stray furbabies into a loving home. Therefore sharing our cause and fundraiser to your family, friends and social medias will give us a massive boost and help.

We reached the target!!! Thank you for anyone who donated. All the thanks I can say aren't enough!! I will update the donation goal to RM800 since my family and friends' posts are still up and any extra donation will help the cause as well!! Million thanks, the furbabies and me are grateful to you kind souls ❤️

UPDATE (15 JUNE 2020 ; 12.06AM)

We managed to raised almost RM 500 in the span of 4 hours!!! Hella amazing!!! This will never happen if you guys didn't continuously share with your family and friends, you guys are the real heroes here! For your information, my team targeted to raise RM2000 collectively for Zero Strays Miri and as of now, we managed to raise RM1634.96 together. Let's try and help the collective amount to reach RM2000. With your help, I'm sure we can do this!!!
