Save Food! Reduce Food Waste！

The Story

I am Mei Wei, now 21 years old and a person who concerns about the current issues happening now. I am studying Bachelor of Accounting in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). I joined AIESEC Organization in my first semester and now I am proud to be an AIESEcer.

This project is to instil awareness, change attitudes and initiates actions for youths towards reducing food waste issues. According to the Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (SWCorp), by 2020 the total amount of food waste can certainly fill up 16 of the twin towers. 

Where we can see the food waste? Actually at many places we can see the food waste issues is happening but we were not concern about it. Such as night markets, supermarkets, event places. After the event, normally we can see a lot of food left.

In order to solve this issues, we need to work together. A small action from everyone can makes a big change for the food waste issues. I hope can get the donotion from you to make this project successful in this year and onwards.
