Walk the Talk, Speak to Shine

The Story

Hi, I'm Justin Tee from AIESEC in HELP and this is my tiny contribution to the bigger picture. I'm passionate about this project because it truly spoke to me. Growing up in a confined space, I rarely get a chance to speak confidently and fluently. Often outshined by my peers in schools and extra-curriculum, I grew up to be an insecure teenager that is shy to take up any opportunity to groom myself into a better person. Even though I have learned the way to conquer this insecurity, it took me a long, painful and lonely journey. With this project, students don't have to experience what I have experienced. They get to walk the talk and deal with this fear together and with proper guidance. Finally, I truly endorse this program because youths hold the key to our future, to develop them is to develop ourself.
