Hand in Hand

The Story

Hi guys, we’re a group of passionate students from Enactus University of Nottingham Malaysia, who cares deeply about the wellbeing of everyone in the world and We Would Like to Spread our LOVE💓 to everyone in need especially now, during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I’m Alex, and my group of friends Desmond, Daniel, Nicholas and Jia Yi are here to raise funds 💰 for SERUM Initiative to make a positive impact to the community, to help as much as we can. 

As we all can see, COVID-19 had been a roller coaster for all of us. If we look closely, under-privileged communities are suffering more than we do. Low-income group of people will be facing a financial crisis, made it harder for them to obtain their essential needs. Especially in this current pandemic where it’s highly dangerous without any face protection and self-hygiene.

And here we would like to share a story that redirected our lives to focus in spreading LOVE💓 to everyone.

During our trip to Hong Kong, there was a man that caught our attention because he was staring at us all the time when we were having our lunch so we approached him out of curiosity. Turns out, he is a father of 2 kids and he had lost his job. He was begging for food to provide for his kids and he even resort to eating leftovers on the plates of the restaurant nearby.  

After the incident, we realized that there are countless under-privileged communities that are waiting for our help. Especially in this current dangerous situation where they couldn’t even afford to buy the necessities to stay healty, much less prevent the spread of Covid 19.

SERUM initiative is a platform where suppliers and consumers come together hand in hand to make an impact to the communities, to help out the struggling group of people. Through this project, we’ll help to provide more face masks 😷 and hand sanitizer 🧴 to the ones in need.

With just RM 10 we’re able to help him fight against COVID-19. As much as RM 35 we’re able to help a family. Just imagine how much more we can do, let’s make an impact to the community together!
