The covid-19 patients and cases admissions figures at hospital have already been reduced in states which are having higher vaccination rates. There are many statistics and proofs which are relevant to that.

Additionally,  Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said that there were many reductions of covid-19 cases at states such as Labuan, Sarawak, Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. There are results showing that  40% of adults in these states had been vaccinated fully.

Sungai Buloh Hospital has seen a downward trend for the admissions for covid-19 patients. A reduction of covid-19 cases among hospital workers have also been noted as most of them have been fully vaccinated. 6,718 healthcare workers according to the health minister have been fully vaccinated. This means, the covid-19 cases had been decreased after 2.94% of the 24,8874 workers had been fully vaccinated successfully.

Dr. Noor Hisham also noted “The ministry had conducted an extreme level of periodical screening for the workers due to their high exposure to covid-19 infections. Most of the people who are infected are really under categories of 1& 2. This means, the patients are having mild symptoms or no symptoms.”

Additionally, Datuk Chong Chee Kheong, who is known as health deputy director general, said that there are currently among 80,000 positive covid-19 patients undergoing self isolation at their own homes. This is happening at Klang Valley.

The Greater Klang Valley Task Force’s chairman also highlighted that half of the positive Covid-19 cases are still under critical category. Under the category, there was 1 asymptomatic patient. Then, 30 percent under category 2  were having mild symptoms.

Our  health minister said that there would be electronic digital trackers fitted on 1000 foreigners who are undergoing home quarantine in a pilot project which was arranged by the Health Ministry. This pilot project would be fully outsourced to a private firm to help the Ministry to monitor foreign visitors and also people who are having close contacts with covid-19 patients.

With all of the efforts by the Health Ministry, it is essential that  people who are yet to register for vaccination, need to make it as soon as possible so that the country would be fully vaccinated.
