Persatuan Sokongan Keluarga Insan Istimewa NSDK

This Family Support Group was established in 1994 to cater for families with children of different disabiliities such as Autism, Down's Syndrom, Cerebral Palsy and Slow Learners. We have about 80 families of various races as members. We organise activities such as Family Day, Trips and workshops for the members. We also run a daycare centre peeling garlic for about 15 of our members' disabled children.We are renting a premise for this purpose and also as an office. We are hoping to get a building of our own in the near future to turn it into a homestay to house these disabled children when their parents are no longer around.We donot get any kind of allocation from the Welfare Department and depend on our members' subscriptions and donations from the public to organise our activities. We welcome any kind of help wth open arms!
