Food Aid Foundation (FAF) is Malaysia’s pioneering food bank with a mission to rescue surplus food, reduce waste, and relieve hunger.

We recover quality, edible food from manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and the F&B industry. Food that would otherwise go to waste is redirected to those who need it most. Hunger and food waste are two sides of the same problem, and we tackle both with a no-nonsense approach.

In a country where over 4,000 tonnes of edible food is discarded daily while millions struggle with food insecurity, our work goes beyond redistribution. We offer emergency food relief and equip communities with culinary skills to help them rebuild their lives.

Since our inception, FAF has:

• Rescued over 15 million kg of food

• Served more than 43 million meals to people in need 

• Prevented over 37,500 tonnes kg of carbon emissions

• Benefited close to 50 million people

We envision a Malaysia where no one goes hungry, food is never wasted, and every surplus is seen as an opportunity to feed hope.
