CHILD Information Learning and Development Centre

CHILD (CHILD Information, Learning and Development) Centre is a voluntary social movement that seeks to optimize opportunities for the disadvantaged children. It was established in 1984 by a group of professionals to provide educational and motivational assistance to less privileged children. It comprises a core of devoted and selfless professionals supported by a network of dedicated volunteers who collectively strategize, coordinate, implement and monitor CHILD programmes. CHILD is also an NGO engaged in uplifting the standard of basic education among the less privileged children in the B40 Tamil community. In this regard one of CHILD™s core programme is preschool education.
