MASALAH

Musim hujan pada penghujung tahun merupakan cabaran terbesar bagi penduduk Kampung Shah kerana mereka seringkali kekurangan bekalan makanan segar kerana jalan perhubungan yang terputus. Penduduk kampung yang rata-ratanya berkerja sebagai penoreh getah hilang mata pencarian kerana cuaca buruk yang berterusan selama beberapa minggu. Hal ini menyebabkan mereka tidak mampu membeli barang makanan yang tidak mudah rosak seperti beras, gula, minyak masak dan makanan dalam tin sebagai persediaan menghadapi musim hujan.
 

PENYELESAIAN

Menyediakan 30 Set makanan tidak mudah rosak bagi membantu penduduk Kampung Shah yang terdiri daripada 30 buah keluarga bagi persediaan menghadapi musim hujan. Setiap set makanan  terdiri daripada bekalan makanan asas seperti berikut:

  • Beras

  • Bihun

  • Minyak Masak

  • Teh

  • Gula

  • Susu sejat

  • Kari ayam dalam tin 

 

IMPAK

Projek ini akan membantu penduduk Kampung Shah menghadapi musim hujan dengan bekalan makanan yang mencukupi bagi tempoh 2 minggu.

 

THE PROBLEM

The end-of-the-year raining season is the biggest challenge for the residents of Kampung Shah . Most of the routes would be inundated renders food supplies to the village inaccessible. Most of the residents work as rubber tappers. Owing to the severe weather for consecutive weeks, they lose their livelihood. They cannot afford to buy non-volatile food i.e., rice, sugar, cooking oil and canned food in preparation for the raining season

 

THE SOLUTION

30 sets of food that are not easily spoilt and can be kept during the rainy season will be provided to 30 families of Kampung Shah. Each set of food supply consists of:

  • Rice

  • Meehon

  • Cooking Oil

  • Tea

  • Sugar

  • Condensed Milk

  • Canned Curry Chicken

 

THE IMPACT

The project will help the residents of Kampung Shah in the preparation of coming rainy season. The food supplies are expected to help these poor families and sustain their normal living for a period of 2 weeks.

 

Goal Breakdown

Goal 1 - Rice (Beras), Cooking oil (minyak masak), sugar (gula), Meehoon (Bihun), Condensed Milk (Susu sejat), Canned Curry Chicken (Kari ayam dalam tin), Tea (Teh) . Amount Needed: MYR3,200.00

Goal 2 - transport (bot, four-wheel drive vehicle from Gerik Town to PRS Kemar) [pengangkutan (bot, kenderaan pacuan empat roda dari pekan gerik ke RPS Kemar)]. Amount Needed: MYR5,000.00
