THE PROBLEM
Climate change has always became a prolonge issue that consumes every part of the world, Malaysia included. According to the World Bank Group and Asian Development Bank's Climate Risk Country Profile: Malaysia (2021), under the worst-case scenario of climate change, average temperatures in this country are expected to rise by 3.11 degrees Celsius by the 2090s. For ages, environmentalists and climate activists has warned about the impact of climate change towards the Earth, however, not many individuals/parties are aware or has yet to play their part in limiting the effects of it. In order to increase the number of Malaysians who are climate advocates, these are the necessary issues that needs to be resolved:
1. The low awareness of climate change and climate issues.
2. Malaysians' subpar knowledge in climate issues.
THE SOLUTION
- Create more awareness towards climate issue amongst Malaysians.
- Create initiatives that walk-the-talk
THE IMPACT
- Malaysians will be more aware of the current climate state that our world and country is in.
- There are more people who will be climate advocates.
- Lessen the impact of climate change.
