Hello there! I am Izzah from AIESEC in University of Malaya. AIESEC is an international youth-run and not-for-profit organization that provides youths with leadership development through  international internships and volunteer opportunities. It focuses on empowering young people to make a Progressive social impact.

Knowing how to speak, read and write in English is super important in our society as it broadens our horizons from job opportunities to enabling us to connect to people in a global world. All in all, learning english can help improve our quality of life. 

As a part time tutor, I have noticed the struggle of some of the students to write, read and even converse in English as they weren't born with the same privilege as us to master the language. The lack of knowledge on the language, had kept them back from participating, and applying for courses due to their feeling of unworthy and low self esteem.

As someone who is passionate to make a difference, I am raising some funds for a campaign called "Speak Up" designed to provide opportunities for students to improve their English by speaking up with confidence. The more money I am able to raise, the more good things that we can do for the community together.
