Better Education to Build a Brighter Future

The Story

Hey everyone! I am Ling Ling, an undergraduate in University of Malaya. I am here to help in fundraising for Speak Up, a project that provides opportunity for students to enhance their English speaking and knowledge in STEM subjects.

Throughout these years learning and working in cross-cultural environment, I realize how lucky I am to grow in a place which emphasizes on the learning of English. English is not only a language that helps in connecting people from different background, it is also able to arouse our interest towards STEM subjects, which eventually allows us to have more choices in the future. In other words, having the confidence to speak English is like holding the entry permit to different opportunities and explorations. 

Every individual has equal right to own a platform to enhance their English proficiency and have the confidence to speak up. Small things can have big impact. We are having the ability to bring positive change to the society around us, so why don't we?
