Education Fund For Asnaf Muallaf in Laos

THE PROBLEM

• The beneficiaries: Nweng Village, Laos (Kampung Nweng).
• There are 7 families together with 29 Muslims.
• To this day there are no guides/teacher/ustaz to continue the guidance/teaching about Islam to the muallaf there.
• Laos's government policy does not allow people to live in the country, so teacher/ustaz from another country cannot be sent to Laos.
• Most residents of this village do not have identification documents.

THE SOLUTION

ABOUT THE FUND

• MISI7 plan to send 5 students each year to the As Salam Foundation (Yayasan As Salam) in Nong Khai, Thailand. 
• These 5 students will be sponsored as detailed below:
  Identity Card: RM 150
  Travel Cost for IC: RM 100
  Passport: RM 450
  Passport travel cost: RM 100
  Oudomxay-Nong Khai Cost: RM 200
  Travel Cost AJK MISI7 (1 person): RM 800
  Cost 1 student: RM 1,000
  Cost of 5 students: RM 5,800
  Cost of meals & drinks: RM 200
  Student pocket money: RM 50
  Cost of 1 student (per month): RM 250
  Cost of 5 students (per month): RM 1,250
  Cost of 5 students (per year): RM 15,000
• MISI7 will also carry out continuous monitoring to keep track of the students' progress.
• We receive any amount of donation without limit.

  On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three:

1. Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity)
2. Knowledge from which benefit is gained,
3. A righteous child who prays for him’.   (Hadith Muslim)
